Each year, the Mid Central Region recognizes individuals for their contributions to the hobby of Model Railroading.
The members of the Board of Directors nominate individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the Region for the Directors' Award.
Individuals who promote the hobby for the Wenderfer Award Russ Wenderfer Award given by Division 7.
The President's Award is conferred annually by the NMRA President to a member in each Region at the Annual National BOD in August. The Region President nominates the Regional member worthy of the award and presents that individual to the national VP.
